I started this blog because I want to tell my story and hopefully be an inspiration. I want to show people that they can overcome anything. It’s about my own personal experiences, thoughts, opinions, and views. The troubles I have gone through and how far I’ve come. After you read this story you should go to the menu in the upper right hand corner and look around. I am sure you will find something interesting to read.
I am sure that we are going to be able to adapt and overcome but… to be completely honest, Right now I am in desperate need of help to pay for my cares as a quadriplegic. Now I normally don’t share my business with anybody but in this case, I kind of don’t have a choice. Simply put, I just need help and I have no other option. Not yet anyways. So please after you read this please like, make sure to comment, and share. Together we will see where this journey takes me. Thank you! Here’s a little bit about the type of person I am and a tiny bit about what we have all been through and what has happened throughout the years.
I am an honest, strong willed, give the shirt off my back, don’t ask for help but help all you can kind of guy. I enjoy helping people and I love to do it. I stand up to what I believe is right and I have strong self-discipline and I’m usually very motivated. If I’m not going to give it my all I don’t give anything. I am not much for giving up and when I do something I make sure it’s done right. I have been a quadriplegic for just shy of 11 years now. Before that I was a hard-working family man that never showed up late to work and could always be counted on. It was not uncommon for me to work over 100 hours a week. I’ve done everything from concrete to drywall to Asphalt… I’ve done steel stud and wood framing, foreclosed property cleanups and maintenance… Landscape and sprinkler installation. I’m telling you, I’ve had my hand in several different professions. Heck I even know my way around a gasoline engine and I regularly show people how to fix their own vehicles. I’ve become very good at explaining how to do things, I’ve learned how to keep my cool, and I don’t get upset very easily. I’m not just going to freak out because you don’t do it the right way or don’t understand what I’m saying. If you’ve got some kind of project you’re working on and you have questions.. There is a good possibility I’ll have an answer and if I don’t I won’t pretend like I do. Outside of work though, I was always down to barbecue and if I wasn’t working I was a shorts and flip-flops kind of guy. I hardly ever drink anymore but back then… If it was later than noon on my day off, there was a good chance I had a beer in my hand. That being said, I was responsible and my children always came first and still do. I don’t do anything without thinking about them first. My decisions today affect their tomorrow and that’s not something I’m willing to throw around.
I am a 34-year-old quadriplegic male. I am also a full-time father to my two children. I have 1 girl and 1 boy and then I have a stepson. On June 28th 2013 my family and I were in a horrible rollover crash. I was the only one injured in the accident thank God, but unfortunately it resulted in a broken neck and never being able to walk again. My kids and I have been through so much and to top it off we might lose our house. I am trying to come up with every possible option for me to create and generate a stable and reliable income source. It is not easy. I have not worked in 10 years and I don’t have any use of my legs or hands so where do I start, you know what I mean? I am willing to sit down and be taught how to do something and I am willing to put forth the effort it takes to learn something new in order succeed in my goals. If you can help please reach out to me! Please! Anyhow I hope you have a wonderful day take care and thank you for reading!
