I was just thinking about when Facebook first came out. Everyone was all skeptical and stuck on MySpace. You were somehow less of a man if you had a Facebook and all the guys were like Facebook is lame I’ll never have a Facebook.
Then we went through a time where it seemed like everybody only used Facebook to complain about life and participate in everybody’s drama. Some people definitely still use it for that but it doesn’t seem as bad these days.
Nowadays you’re not even a human being if you don’t have a Facebook page. To some people it’s their first choice when getting a hold of others rather than making a phone call. I may not post a lot but I have a Facebook just so that I can follow along with my other friends and family members and know that they are all right. Just touch base on what is going on in their lives.
It’s crazy how Facebook started the social media trend. Turning YouTube into this massive media domain it is today. Giving way to all the others, tick tock, Twitter, Snapchat, and Instagram.
