I don’t get much to live off each month so I am very careful… I have automatic bill pay set up for each and every one of my bills. Within 6 days of being paid everything is paid. So by then I know exactly how much I have to get through the rest of the month. Even though I know that everything is paid, I tuck away at least a hundred bucks to get me through the last 10 days before I get paid again. Everything else that I have I know I can use to go have fun with my children, buy items that are needed, or pay towards debt. One week before payday I count my money and anything extra I have or didn’t end up needing usually goes towards things like debt, clothes for the kids, or the occasional pizza order.
